to expand the reach of our AI-powered Wrong-Way Vehicle Detection Systems (WWVDS) beyond the
Southeast.
Founded in 2012, GovComm has spent over a decade developing, deploying, and proving the
performance of wrong-way detection systems that help prevent the most dangerous types of highway
collisions. Our solutions are currently throughout Florida and are approved by the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT). These systems activate wrong-way warning signs in real time and immediately
notify traffic management centers.
As the sixth company to join the growing Synapse platform—alongside trusted names like Carmanah,
Polara, EDI, Diablo Controls, and Availed Technologies—GovComm brings a focused safety solution to
an integrated ecosystem dedicated to smarter, safer roads.
