Standards play a vital part in the design, production, and sales of GovComm products including video surveillance cameras, video servers and dynamic message signs.
MIAMI – Oct. 20, 2014 – PRLog — In an effort to maintain and further develop product excellence, GovComm applied for and was accepted as the newest member of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). NEMA is the leading trade association in the United States representing the interests of electrical manufacturers. NEMA standards define a product, process, or procedure with reference to one or more of the following: nomenclature, composition, construction, dimensions, tolerances, safety, operating characteristics, performance, rating, testing, and the service for which products are designed.
The Company believes that standards play a vital part in the design, production, and sales of GovComm products including video surveillance cameras, video servers and dynamic message signs. Sound technical standards benefit our customers, the public at large and GovComm as the manufacturer, by improving safety, eliminating misunderstandings in the purchase and sale process and assisting our customers in selecting and obtaining the proper product for their particular need.
GovComm executives Craig Waltzer and Svetoslav Veltchev were invited to become active participants in the formation of NEMA policy and agreed to join transportation management technical committees in the areas of NTCIP, NEMA TS 2 and NEMA TS 4 standards.
